1 Month Car Rentals?

Featured Replies

I was looking into renting a car for about 10 days in October (5 days at the beginning and 5 days near the end). Then it dawned on me that it may be cheaper to just rent one for the whole month. Any leads on where a good deal can be had? I would like to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of 10K, not much more.

Thanks in advance!

daily rental is about 1,200 THB for a good car, or 13K for the month if you can negotiate the price

try phuket car rental

For 10k you will be able to rent a Suzi Caribbean (light 4WD) but not a sedan. You will not get a sedan for 13k for one month only (unless it is a rather old one) - certainly not from recognised renters. Avoid private rentals (insurance/support issues) and make sure that you have an IDP (International Driver Permit). Try Phuket Gazette classifieds online for options.

I would highly recommend Mr Suksavat

He will come to your house and wash the car while you are renting it. His cars are in good condition and he delivers the car to you also.

My friend just rented from him based on my recommendation and she was very pleased.

He speaks English well and is from Phuket. I think it is good to support the locals when possible.
