After some high-density, rigid fibreglass panels, ideally 100mm thick. Been to Global House, Home Pro, et al, but they only do the general panels and rolls. If anyone knows their fibreglass, Owens-Corning 705 is ideally what I'm after. Bay Corp in Bangkok does less-dense panels but would prefer to source it here. Insulation specialists, Aair-con places, anyone?

For the simple reason that those with 'confused minds' may not know what rigid fibreglass is but may have an inkling of what rockwool and glasswool are and know where to get them. It would then be likely that the place with the rockwool/glasswool also has said rigid fibreglass, or indeed knows of a source.

If you know a source, then great, please let on, but if you've posted because you're bored or enjoy picking holes then thanks for wasting three minutes of my time.

Ah, nothing so interesting........ :D I sent jackr the link for Siam Fiberglass Co., Ltd. - which I think forum rules say I should not post (it being a commercial website). But a few seconds with Google will get you the same result as I sent to him. Incidentally, they appear to stock Owens-Corning products.

I leave it to you decide whether you can tempt A.N.Other to divulge further sources. Seems tricky......... :o

Nienke; maybe we can open a fixit/findit business for all the people who look for things, parts, service, etc. You can work with the smaller objects and I will work on the biggens. As we would not charge other than the requirement that they take a homeless critter and we would not guarentee any part of our attempts. There would be a wealth of advice given if we ran into a perdictment where we needed guidence to a item or service.
