downtown
help! wifey and I are going back to Ubon for the first time in 2 years and things seemed to have changed regarding flights since last time. suvarnabhumi's website doesnt appear to have been updated since 2006 and im reading conflicting things. it appears THAI has reduced its number of flights to ubon, as previously there was always an evening (800 pm) flight . now it seems you have to fly out of don muang and the last flight it 5 o clock ish in the evening. we arrive on fri 14 november so can any fellow ubon lovers clarify; can you only fly out of don muang? are there no late evning flights anymore. the problem is our flight from blighty doesnt get to suvarnabhumi until 400 pm, so if theres no late flight were stuffed and will have to spend an unwanted night in bkk D

sezzo
I flew from BKK to Ubon return about 4 months ago. BKK to Ubon with Thai was out of Don Muang then flew Ubon to BKK landing at Suwanabum. Like the previous poster advised and check the relevant websites for schedules.
