90 Day Stamp Vs Visa Expiration Date

Featured Replies

I think I remember someone saying that if your 90 day stamp takes you behond the expiration date on your visa that you can wait until the end of the 90 days before renewing your visa.

Is that correct or should I go ahead and renew my Non O before it expires.

Thanks

Not sure what you have but just before your 90 day stay expires apply for another visa.

I assume you have a multi-entry Non Imm visa and have wrung the last 90 days out of it?

The date on the visa is no longer relevant, it is the entry stamp (90 days) in your passport that matters.

You cannot "renew" a visa.

You have two options.

1. You can apply to Immigration in Thailand for a one year extension, if you can meet the requirements, OR

2. You must travel outside Thailand and apply for a new visa.

If you can meet the requirements for an extension then you should apply

in the last month before the 90 days expires. Better not to leave it to the last day.

If you need a new visa you can leave any time up to the last day.
