Thailand is "Land Of Scams" - LOS Thailand will never be able to stop with dual pricing, unless they make not only illegal and a crime by law, and set a high fine with prison. Since, it's easy to understand that dual pricing is both racism and discrimination. And as long as even some Thai tries to charge 80 baht instead of 40 baht for a meal of food, it will always be a Land Of Scammers. -

If by email, these tend to be inaccurate and inflated. Get direct ftom Dr. If you already did that, look into having it done at Thonburi Hospital instead. While they're at it, IF they were serious, they could also stop common scams, like 'taxi no meter', or 'I will now switch off meter and you pay me 500 baht for the 10 minutes into town' as soon as you step out of the airport... (Alternatively, allow Grab & Co. at the airport. 😉) (And yes, I know, there is a taxi booking counter at Don Muang, but who wants to wait another two hours or so, after more than half a day on plane, in airports, and at Immigration...) -

Alcohol but not a real problem
And if I may ask one more question ss, is a limited quantity of Heineken 0.0 (abv 0.03%) a problem.? I am thinking of 4 or 5 bottles a week. In fact as I was typing that I was thinking best to keep it to 1 or 2 a week or keep it to none as I did for about a year. -

UK State Pension Forecast - Reliable?
Very strange. I just received a letter from HMRC asking me to pay outstanding class 2 NIC but the amount owed is zero! There's a giro cheque attached to it, also showing zero, which I'm supposed to take to the bank 🤔
