There is a big comany in Surat.I've lost the card, but the Rep speaks excellent english.If you try & google power supply co's in Surat.

Try Tirathai or Ekarat. Both sell distribution transformers.

Coming from Tesco turn left at the traffic lights toward chaweng beach , pass family mart on left , carry on toward next 7-11 also on left .

Keep looking on the right hand side you will see a small shop with 2 large transformers outside plus a display of cross sectioned high voltage cables
