How To Negotiate A Deal As Buyer?

Recommended Posts

Walking into the sales office, you might get a brochure and a price list. That penthouse with 101 m is listed at 2.7 m Baht. some may take or leave it. Like in a supermarket, when they go grocery shopping.

Developers got to be hurting. A quick all cash sale, no financing issues and delays... How much lower do you bid?

When you negotiate, how do you do that?

Do you work out a price and just say this is what I'm prepared too pay? Or do you engage in lengthy talks?

"It's about the bucks - the rest is just conversation" Gordon Gecko in the movie Wall Street

It would be a shame to step in it and offend the seller in some way.

Pretty darn cheap.

And?

And??

Have you ever negotiated a price on anything, anywhere? It's just like that

Yep.

"Or do you engage in lengthy talks?"

Why would you do that?

Perhaps you should worry more about your a$$, rather than the seller's face.

Agree with glyph 100% the worse thing the seller can do is to refuse to talk, which leaves you free to low ball somewhere else.

If your motivation to acquire is not driven by getting it as cheap as possible, (eg you want to live there and you really dont want to miss it), pay a little more but within the limits that you are comfortable with.
