No Running Water Today

Hi guys,

Just discovered that I've no running water today. Anyone else experiencing this and does anyone know when it might be back? This seems to happen without warning and is a little bit annoying when one has to go to work.

Might help if you were to be a little more specific as to what area you're in.

Probably something broke down. Usually it takes an hour or so for them to repair it, and then the water comes back again.

Be aware, though, that often first brown dirty water will come out of the taps. Just let it run untill it clears up. Takes about a minute or so.

Where I first lived it was more rule than exception to have no running water for a few hours, till they renewed the whole system. Having a big tank or something helps you through these moments without much discomfort.

That is the advantage of sucking klong water out of the klong. We only lose water when we lose electricity.

Turn off your main water valve and turn it on about 15 minutes after everybody has gotten the deluge of brown water.

Forgot to mention that I live fairly close to the train station in Ban Ton Kham.

There was a big back up of traffic around Changklan Rd and south of there this morning. Something to do with digging pipes , so maybe that was the reason.
