Shame about the slow youtube, The wifi internet here is just fast enough to stream youtube most of the time.

On some internet connections you can get quite a bit of boost by using an accelerator like Orbit

which also happens to include a feature called grab++ that allows you to download youtube clips to your harddisk directly, and in many cases much faster than letting it cache and then watch.

Me? Clearing my desk as it's my last day here on the refinery project. Got one inspection of a power boiler scheduled for 09:00 and then the rest of the day clearing up and saying goodbye.

Tuesday I fly DAD to BKK and visit some friends in Pattaya thence on the 9th November on to Seoul to fill the position of mechanical engineer on the polypropylene project. A few months of that and it's back here to Viet Nam so it's only a short sentence in the Gulag Archipeligo. Problem is that it is the winter months and it's a long time since I experienced real winter.
