Can Anyone Recommend A Good Medical Centre In Pattaya Specialising In Travel?

Hi BM's.

Can anyone help me locate a medical clinic in Pattaya which specialises in travel medicine?

I have been previously referred to the Red Cross in Bangkok, but this will be out of my way.

I'm interested in Hep A & Hep B vaccinations.

I'd prefer not to queue up for half a day or longer to visit a regional GP.

Also, can you purchase Hep A & B shots over the counter at a Pharmacy without a prescription?

If so, can you visit a GP & ask them to administer it?

A good medical center in Pattaya = there really isn't one, but

good enough to give simple vaccination = plenty of places. For no wait and good English, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital or Pattaya International Clinic. They are not the cheapest places but should be able to get you in & out in a jiffy.

Hep B requires a series of 3 injections and Hep a series of 2.

They'll have the vaccine, no problem. ay hospital or large medical clinic will.

Don't know actual cost but you can assume the add-on (charge on top of the actual cost of the vaccines themselves) to be many fold what it would be elsewhere. However this may still be cheaper than travelling into Bangkok and worth avoiding the hassle of language barriers etc. Suggest you call them or email to find out exactly. From what I have heard, PIA may be less costly than BPH.
