What's Up In Krabi This Week ?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I am in Krabi Town for a week, and I'm looking for some entertainment mostly in the evening.

Any good place for live music? Thai music? Nice places to hang out to meet people without getting too drunk?

Some local events happening this week?

Bars etc are shut from Friday for 3 days...oops

Have the big Loy Kratong bash in Ao Nang tonight, starts at 10pm. Probably something similar in Krabi Town too.

@huggybear : thanks!

3 places I liked :

* Bolero (italian restaurant, from the pier turn right on the first road). The same band seems to be there every night, but they are good musicians. Santana and old & pop rock.

* Jam Bar, on Chaofa Road, accross the street from 89cafe. It was pretty quiet this week, but when they have live music this tiny bar turns on a warm atmosphere.

* Joy Bar : in front of Baifern GH (chaofa road). Big, but laid back, the staff is friendly.

I also spotted Crazy Bar (on the main road, shortly after passing the Shell Gas Station), but haven't checked it out yet. I heard they have good shows there, and the crowd is mainly Thais.

anything else?
