1. Start with a very big stash of cash;
   
2. go see a legal firm to set up a company,
   
3. appoint yourself as MD
   
4. pay yourself any salary you feel you are worth.
   
5. go home when the money runs out to make some more.
   
6. Start again.

Nah! It must be the weight measurement unit. Ten thousand pounds = 4536 kg. Then, the OP can work in rice fields and be paid with 4.536 metric tons of buffalo shit per month. Not a bad deal IMHO.
