Renewal Of Thai Identification Card

Hi , everyone there, my Thai wife is going back to Haadyai to renew ID Card that expired 12 years ago,she has with her is a Copy of House Registration (phostated)which certified by local district in Pharn,Chiangrai (hometown)(Red Stamping!!!) and expired ID Card and passport Thailand valid till year 2010 June.My question is:

Where is the ID registration department in Haadyai?Can i get it in 2 days time cos we're taking tour package for 4days/3nights Haadyai trips?My documents as i mentioned above, is it sufficient to meet the requirement? I really need all of you a big help and favour to equip me with answer before i make arrangement

When my wife changed her ID she was in and out within half an hour. Done at the amphur.

Don't worry. Your wife has her passport, which is a valid ID.

i need to renew her ID Card cos she got no choice ,that the embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia advice her to renew ID first before renew her passport.Can she do it in Haadyai rather than going back to Chiangrai(hometown)?2 days process?

My Wife typically tells me maybe you can, maybe you cannot.

As is usually the case here different offices and officials will have different rules.

Best to give them a ring and ask.

The procedure only takes an hour or two.
