Bumrungrad hospital

Featured Replies

Anyone been to Bumrungrad Hospital in BKK?

BTW is the Emergency Web page up? I had it bookmarked and it still says that it is going to launch in July.

I have been to that hospital and have also taken my wife there to get her obligatory check-up and exam for the US Government before she came to the states with me.  I have not been in many hospitals in BKK but I would trust my care to that one.  It is often regarded as one of the finest hospitals in the country.

Bumrungrad hospital has very good facilities and reputation. It is also centrally located. I have been there on numerous occassions and have always received good service, despite it usually being slow.

Having said this, I would recommend Bangkok General Hospital over Bumrungrad, which is a private facility offering more specialised care and certainly the place I would go for any major medical treatment. I have been an inpatient at this hospital before and can only describe the care and doctors as exceptional. They also have an excellent international medical centre for casual, minor medical issues. Their web site is: www.bangkokhospital.com Make them your first choice. Hope this helps
