Here Is My Predicament

Okay so i just finished my second visa run which will put me at the 90 day mark at the end of december so my question(S) are as follows.

-if i want to stay in thailand longer than 90 days how long do i have to leave the country

-if i apply for a visa at the Laos embassy while still in thailand can i go pick it up and come back right away

basically i need guidence on how the best way to go about staying in thailand for as long as possible would be, starting by extending my stay at least another 3 months and ultimately indefinately. sorry if my question sounds ignorant but after reading through the threads im not sure i fully understand everything so if someone could give me a clearcut answer it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

You can get a 2 entry tourist visa at the Thai Consulate in Vientiane. This will give you 60 days plus 30 with an extension that you can get at immigration. After this 90 days you will need to make a border run and use the 2nd entry of your visa which will give you another 90 days. After that you need to get another Visa.

You will have to stay at least one night in Vientiane. You apply for the visa the morning of one day and pick up your passport with visa the next afternoon.
