Flights Out

Featured Replies

I just thought that I'd let everyone on here know that there is a relatively easy way to get out of Chiang Mai.

Last night, I went to the airport to see if I could get on the Silk Air flight to Singapore. I had no ticket - just put my name on the standby list.

Apparently, they are offering additional flights out and there are no booked tickets (just standby and re-directed passengers)

Within a couple of hours, I was on a flight out of the city. Total cost for a round-trip ticket was 18000+ baht. A bit pricey but a definite option for those who need to leave.

While at the airport, a group travelling from Bangkok also arrived. They immediately also went to the Silk Air agent and purchased tickets. I guess options are better here

Stay safe back in CNX.
