Accident Bolt Rider’s U-Turn Crash Injures 3 in Pattaya
Picture courtesy of SiamChon Three people were injured in a collision involving a Bolt motorcycle taxi, a Russian tourist and a foreign motorcyclist on a big bike on Jomtien Second Road. Emergency services from Sawang Boriboon Rescue Centre were dispatched to the scene, along with Pattaya City Police investigator Pol. Sub-Lt. Chainares Pengkaen and a medical team from a local hospital. At the scene, rescue workers found a badly damaged motorcycle lying overturned in the right-hand lane near the central reservation. Nearby, the injured Bolt rider, identified as 23-year-old Jetsadapornpong, was found lying on the road. His Russian passenger was also injured, suffering from chest trauma and back pain due to the impact. Approximately 300 metres away, a big bike, was found wrecked in the middle of the road. Its foreign rider, whose identity and nationality have not yet been confirmed, sustained critical injuries. Paramedics administered first aid before rushing all three injured parties to nearby hospitals for treatment. According to eyewitnesses, the Bolt driver had been carrying the Russian passenger before making an illegal right turn across a zebra crossing, designated solely for pedestrian use and controlled by traffic lights. The rider allegedly ignored traffic regulations and attempted to cut through the pedestrian median to reach a condominium on the opposite side. At that moment, a big bike travelling at high speed collided directly with the Bolt motorcycle. The force of the crash was so severe that the big bike rider was thrown violently, landing against a palm tree on the central reservation. Police are now reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to confirm the exact cause of the crash. Legal proceedings will follow based on the evidence gathered. On June 9, Israeli forces killed a Hamas-affiliated journalist who was holding three Israeli hostages abducted during Hamas’s October 7, 2023, atrocities. Ismail al-Ghoul, an Al Jazeera correspondent who was killed on July 31, was a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force and took part in Hamas’s October 7 attack. Israel has released documents that were captured showing multiple terrorists were working as "journalists". Don't play the holocaust BS card now. You couldn't care less about the holocaust. The Axis powers did not allow dissenting views and all information was state controlled. There were no journalists. Allied news crews were targeted and killed by both German and Japanese soldiers. Your hatred knows no limits. Journalism is a dangerous occupation in a war zone. Carrying out hostile actions while working as a journalist is even more dangerous. -

Dunno. I guess for those without credit cards it might be an advantage. And there is less exposure with a GrabPay Wallet. Is your linked credit card is issued by a Thai bank? Or foreign bank? If the latter, do you pay the 3% uplift charged by Grab for a foreign CC linked?
