Get a double entry tourist visa from the consulate in Hull, you can apply by mail.

A double entry will give you the right to travel 2 times to Thailand and get a permission to stay for 60 days each time. Each 60 days can be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht at an immigration office. After the 60 days or 90 days with extension have ended you have to leave the country but can come right back in the same day and get another 60 days plus extension.

Apply for the visa shortly before you go to Thailand, as you have to make use of both entries within a certain time from the day of issue.

Where would I find an immigration office?

Would I need any documentation to get the extension?

Do I have to leave and come back before or after my 90 day visa expires to get another 60 days?

Will they say anything when I enter Bangkok and have a return ticket 6 months later?

Thank you for your help :o

There are many in Thailand. It depends on where you are staying.

Passport. Photo. Application form. 1,900 Baht

When you first entry is nearly over you do a border run and come back again.

Immigration offices you can find all over the country. Look for a list here: www.immigration.go.th

For the extension you would not need any documentation, except a passphoto.

Immigration will put a stamp in your passport stating till when you are allowed to stay. That day you have to leave. You can get an extension in the last 30 days of your permission to stay, meaning you get another stamp in your pasport telling yoou when you have to leave.

You go over the border to another country, get stamped in there and stamped out agian and can come back to Thailand.

With a visa there is no problem, you can even travel with an one-way ticket.

Have a nice stay.

ok so if I went accross the border at say 85 days and came back the same day I would get another 60 day visa?

Thank you both so much for your help :o
