Visa On Arrival Question

I will arrive BKK 2300 hrs---would I be correct in assuming that the entry stamp would start from the following day- if I arrive at immigration after midnight----may as well get the extra day -if thats how it works--but you NEVER know--after all TIT

Are you talking about a visa on arrival that you have to apply for when you arrive (15 days) or a visa exempt entry (30 days)?

If you go through immigration after midnght your permit to stay will start on that date. They change the dates on their stamps at the stroke of midnght.

well, if you arrived early,just get a cup of coffee first before approaching the immigration officer.

There have been past reports that the date was not changed, even several hours after midnight.

Probably a good idea to check what date is stamped in your passport before you leave the counter.
