I want to buy one MP4 player. And there are so many choices now. I do not know which one is best. Could you give me some recommendation?

I need to buy 8GB big screen MP4 player at 80-100USD which supports several files such as MP3, MPEG4, AVI, WMA, WAV, JPEG.

I'd be interested to hear from the tekkies about mp4, where are the files coming from and so forth, how much better than mp3 is it, or is it for different purpose, etc. etc.
