were driving up to CM on 27th Dec for New Year, looking for large hotel room/1 bed suite for about 1500-2000 baht night for 5 nights any recommendations? will pay more if have to location not important.

also i plan to spend most the time drinking, eating and playing pool whilst the wife takes the boy to the grandparents with the sisters so if anyone is in the area and looking to drink beer and shoot pool let me know

I've ended up booking the Holiday Inn as they have some good deals on at the moment (through rates to go) and its near the grandparents.

Rate works out at about 1670 Baht night for a 45 sq.m room
