They seem to have fixed most of the problems but I am not able to compose a new Hotmail message or to reply to messages. I can put in the address and subject but cannot put in text.

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem, or if it is unique to Gary's computer?

That'd be a deal breaker for me.

Or is there some fix?

Since they converted to "Live" hotmail, mine is periodically buggy. :o

I wondered about that too so I tried it on my laptop and it has the same problem. If my computer has a problem then both of them have the same problem.

I had that problem in Firefox 2. Didn't go away until I upgraded to version 3. Had to use IE for Hotmail in the meantime.

It needs extensions or add on capability like firefox. It's hard to go back to looking at ads everywhere once you're used to browsing without them.
