Lost Driver's License... New Letter From Embassy Required?

I have a 5 Year-driver's License.. actually 2... Auto and motorcycle.

I recently lost them... and I need a replacement.

Do I need a new letter from the embassy to prove residence address??

Actually I moved since I got the Original license?

So Second question if answer to the First one is "NO"...

Do I need a New Letter of Residency (Notorized at $75) to change my registered address?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

CS

Report them stolen (lost) to the police and get a report and then use this for replacements, best report it anyways as they are accepted as ID and someone might commit identity fraud!

My plan, exactly...

But I just wanted confirmation on the Letter before running down to Mor Chit, only to be turned away for Lack of a Letter.

Do you know if I need a new Letter for an Address change.... Or should I just continue with my Old, (no longer valid) Address?

Hmmmm ????

Best of my knowledge you must file a police report. Than take it with you to apply for a new Driver's License. No need for a letter from the Embassy(?) :D:o At least that was the case with my friend Randy in Chiang Rai, maybe the Big Mango have different rules.
