Hi. Just doing some preliminary research on the potential demand for a high quality cat boarding facility, and would love to receive feedback and ideas for TV members here. The location would be determined based on where the greatest demand was thought to be.

In Australia in recent years the average quality of cat and dog boarding facilities has really improved. Not cheap mind you, but big enclosures, some with outside areas too. At the very top end of the market are facilities that have individual rooms with furniture etc - even TV sets!

In Thailand, while there are a few specialist facilities, generally boarding seems to be mainly offered by vet clinics - aimed at very short stays and in small enclosures. Those few facilities that I have seen here thus far would be considered below average quality per what is available in Australia. The focus also seems to be more towards dogs than cats.

Anyway would you use such a facility? How often/and for how long per annum? Where do you think would be the best location? How much would you be prepared to pay to make sure your cat was really well cared for?

Any animal boarding facility that provided furniture and TVs for the animals would be off my list.

They should advertise that they are run by nuts for other nuts!
