I just came back from Thailand.I visited Udon Thani, korat,Chiang Mai,Pattaya, and Bangkok.I went to all The Tesco Lotus, and never seen maple or corn syrup. In fact I never saw any restaurants serving pancakes.I have seen waffles at the roadside stands.I mean whats going on.don't they have french toast or pancakes in the country, and no syrup.

You can get real maple syrup at Foodland, but they want silly money for it.

Maple syrup is a standing order in my Christmas package from home every year. They send a nice big bottle that gets thru to the next Christmas. Looking forward to opening it tomorrow.

French toast just ain't right without it.

Wouldn't have any wild sockeye laying around you don't need?

On every trip to the US, I stock up on many items from Trader Joes.  Right at the top of my list is Grade B, Dark Amber Maple Syrup.  Grade B is much better to me than A as it has a much stronger maple taste.  I pay $12 for one quart.

I do love my pancakes here in Thailand!  :o
