Looking For A House

With all the bad news and crisis going on, believe it or not I am still interested in a house in Phuket.

I am looking for a house, not condo, would like 3 bedrooms. Would like it to be on a development and so western type style. Can pay cash up to 2.5m Baht and somewhere around the airport would be ideal.

Anyone know of any developments around this price. Or know of anything in the resale market?

2.5 seems a bit low if you want it in a development and relatively new. For 3 to 3.5 you could probably find something ok in a decent development.  I'm speaking from experience as I have a house in a new development in Thalang and the price you are looking for was the offplan price 3 years ago before development started.

I have friends who are selling their house on a complex about 3 km from the airport but as steelepulse said 2.5 is a bit low.They are asking in the region of 3.5

3.5- 4.2 seems to be the norm for what the OP is looking for. I had offers of 3.6 - 3.8 and turned them down as I've put in full A/C, extra electrical and a bunch of other renovations from the offplan specs.

You will find what you need in the estates around the Monument, Thalang, 3 beds 2 bathroom detached, the two Neramit estates and others, you will need to drive around for the for sale signs, and there are others that are in government auctions, bank reposession etc however you will have to make the effort and be there in person
