Does Thailand Have A New Country Code As Of Jan.1st?

My wife has made numerous attempts to call her nieces and friends in Thailand from the U.S. since January 1st, and has been unable to get any of her phone calls through. Does anyone know if Thailands country code has been changed since the 1st? TIA for any replies

Thats a good one global Actually its a prepaid phone card with about $10 remaining and she used the same card in late December and it worked fine!

Has the card expired? Dec 31 is a likely date for that kind of thing.

My wife had a few problems calling from the UK at the same time but we put it down to the network in Thailand being overloaded.
