January 7, 200917 yr I name this spider Itsy-Bitsy... Huntsman spider, although this one is very red. Is it poisonous? No, perfectly safe to eat. I too get very edgy around spiders, but find them intriguing in pictures/images, from a safe distance or with some plate glass between us. Their structure and habits are fascinating but when reading about them, especially at a desk, I get restless feet

We can only Thai spiders. Could be anything and venomous.
