Xi Jinping is not satisfied with winning the trade war
Watched the video, paid rapt attention and STILL noted that this is an OPINION program. When I was in media, we were told to leave our political ideology at the door. I gathered, wrote and presented straight news, NOT opinion or hearsay. Our most frequent problem was getting "no comment" responses from Republicans, who then complained loudly of "bias" when we only gave reactions from the opposing side. Surely you realize that media cannot FORCE newsmakers to comment. We just report, we don't indulge in advocacy. To a Trump supporter, there is only THEIR side of the story, no other. -

Root canal prices in Thailand (and comparisons)
Actually it depends on number of sessions needed, 20K not unusual if say 4-5 sessions required as has happened to me. Relative had it done at Thai Red Clinic, 5 years ago was still around 13-15k. Note these prices are not inclusive of crown. Cost of crown will vary with the material/quality selected. -

So many food item prices continue to increase every few weeks
Congrats to those who feel no increase. All imported goods that I buy have gone up steeply (chocolate, waffles and other sweets, all kinds of cheese, air dried salami and other cold cuts). Lindt dark chocolate 84 in 2011, 160 yesterday. For coffee I changed from imported Casino stuff to local whole beans. No instant coffee for me. Bakery products, cake, ... 6 simple croissants at BigC should cost 89, was some 36 to 40 years ago. And also local meat (pork, beef, chicken) went up significantly. Today the roast chicken was 150. Started at 100 some years ago. Coffee and chocolate rising is not Thailand specific. -

Tourism Thailand Vows to End Dual Pricing Amid Growing Tourist Backlash
Note that it's a discount for Londoners, not for British citizens who live in London. People have a problem with the race based discount/increased charge.
