50 workers rushed to hospitals following ammonia leakage

PATHUM THANI: -- Some 50 workers were rushed to hospitals Saturday night following ammonia leakage at their foods processing factory.

Police said the accident happened at 9:40 pm at the Gambian Foods Siam Factory in Lamlukka district. The factory processes foods for exports.

The workers were admitted to intensive care units of the hospitals.

Police said 16 workers were admitted to the Sai Mai Hospital, 9 to Bhumibhol Hospital, 13 to Thanyaburi Hospital and 7 to Ek Pathum Hospital.
