Frost to continue on northern mountaintops: forecast

The Meteorological Department predicted Sunday that frost would happen on northern mountaintops Monday morning.

In its daily forecast issued at 4 am, the department said the temperature on the mountaintops from 6 am Sunday to 6 am Monday would range between 3 to 6 Celsius degrees. It added that frost would happen on some northern mountaintops.

The lowlands in northern provinces would see the temperature ranging between 11 to 14 C degrees.

The mountain tops in northeastern provinces would see the mercury ranging between 5 to 9 C degrees.

The lowest temperature in Bangkok during the 24-hour period would be 20 degree.
