Change your fuel filter. fill it with diesel before re-installing it so as not to lose the prime. No previos answers for you cause of the obvious. Almost 90% of vehicles here are diesel and mechanics are about every 100 yards down every street here. Just try to find one you can trust. Plugged fuel filters are almost always the reason for a quickly occurring loss of power. No expert here but spent about 35 years running every kind of heavy equipment imaginable. Even ran one of two KW Dart 100 ton dump trucks that back in the day were the worlds largest built for the building of the Libby Dam in cowboy infested Montana. Now days the big ones carry about 375 tons and are held at that level until tire technology improves....a little too much info, I know
