Isaan Immigration Assigned Offices

Featured Replies

If you are not aware Immigration recently sent our a memo that requires you to go to an assigned office for annual extensions and re-entry permits.

For example if you have been going to Korat you cannot use that office unless you live in the province.

For more info and to download the list see this topic.

I have friend that gets his annual visa/extention from Kap Cheong, but prefers to do his 90 day reporting in Korat, due to using it as a shopping trip. Is this still viable, or does one have to do the 90 day reporting at the office that issues the visa/extention ? Thanks Ubonjoe.

You have to report at the office you are asigned to. There are reports that you can still report by post to Bangkok.

Isn't that a cop out clause ? Can someone define for sure as to the 90 day reporting location ?
