Isaan Immigration Assigned Offices

If you are not aware Immigration recently sent our a memo that requires you to go to an assigned office for annual extensions and re-entry permits.

For example if you have been going to Korat you cannot use that office unless you live in the province.

I have friend that gets his annual visa/extention from Kap Cheong, but prefers to do his 90 day reporting in Korat, due to using it as a shopping trip. Is this still viable, or does one have to do the 90 day reporting at the office that issues the visa/extention ? Thanks Ubonjoe.

You have to report at the office you are asigned to. There are reports that you can still report by post to Bangkok.
Isn't that a cop out clause ? Can someone define for sure as to the 90 day reporting location ?

As the rule is only 2 days old nobody really knows yet. These are 2 reports from members today.
