Kasugai Roasted Hot Green Peas

Featured Replies

Help, I'm almost out of my hot roasted green peas, a case of which I brought with me from the U.S. :D:D

Where's the best place in BKK or elsewhere to buy a big supply of these?

I used to get 450g/15.87oz sized bags and put them in an air-tight container, but of course the humidity here does a number on them if I don't eat the fairly quickly (watch the gut expand). :o

I guess I'll have to settle for smaller packets. Is there a good larger-volume size around here? I want to avoid the single-serving packages. I'm sure they're prohibitively expensive.

Thanks. PM's or general replies welcomed.

If you can suggest the better places for cheese and non-sugar jams, I'd appreciate that greatly too. I'm visiting BKK next week (Jan 19 or so).

What, nobody's tried them?

My wife and I met colleagues of hers from Canada in Chaing Rai on New Years!, they shared my love for these tasty treats, apparently available in Chinatowns all over North America! Great with beer or anything. Good snack.

Try 'em if you haven't. The local variety I've seen in Big C are too sweet.

I heard they were available on Bangkok. I'll be there for a few days shortly. I'd love to know excatly where to go to find them. I need to restock.
