Have A Double Entry From The Uk - Can Get A New One Laos?

Hi,

I've searched for this and i cannot find the answer.

I have a double entry tourist visa from the UK, yet to use the double entry part or 30 day extension.

My question is - when this runs out including the 30 day extensions am i able to go get a new double entry tourist visa from Vientianne consulate and carry on living in Thailand but on a new double entry tourist visa.

I guess this is far to easy and the answer is no, but i cannot find the answer to my question.

I've just re read my question and i dont think i made it clear enough.

What i mean is when the double entry tourist visa is running out - after getting 2 x 30 day extensions and using the 6 months.

Can i go to Laos and just buy a new double entry tourist visa?

if this is posible why doesnt everyone do this?

can you stay in Thai by just getting a new double entry visa every 6 months?

Why do people make a visa run that lasts for 15 days when you are telling me i can go to Laos and get a double entry 6 month visa every 6 months...

I am a little confused as too why people dont do this...
