hi all my girlfriend is a thai national who owns and runs a bar. what visa etc do i need to go and live and work with her?

Probably, but you can't work in the business behind the bar. Sales is one of the things you can't work in as a foreigner, as you can't do work that a Thai person can do.

Simple! the guys you know are working illegally and if caught working without a work permit risk arrest and deportation.If you do a search for jobs allowed for farang you will find working in a bar is not one of them. Teaching English if qualified or working as a diving instructor, if qualified are a few that come to mind

Yes. They work illegally, and quite a few get found out and deported.

You can get a Non O Multi Entry Visa from the Thai Consulate in Hull. This would give you up to 15 months stay but would need you to exit and return every 90 days.

You would not be able to work unless you found a job and were able to get a Work Permit.

Yes you can. As I said you can stretch it out to 15 months by doing a border run just before it expires.

i am back in uk now and have a 2 entry tourist visa which is valid until june, can i apply for multiple non O before june? p.s. thank u everyone you have been most helpful so far

You have been in the UK since your first question.

However. You can apply for a new Visa and the one you already have will be cancelled.
