Anyone Know Good Neuro Opthamologist Or Migraine Specialist

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've developed what appear to be migraines linked to sight -- looking at a computer screen or wearing glasses triggers them. If anyone has had experience with good specialists in Chiang Mai, I would appreciate if you would let me know.

Thank you, Peter

I think all good ophthalmologists are trained in the neurology of the eye. You might try Dr. Rachada at Ram. Several professors of neurology have office hours at Sripat Special Medical Service Center -053-946900 for appointments. You might need a second appt by referral to see the best one.

I can second your reference to Dr Rachada.

She will get a qualified colleague to advise if it is not in her own field of expertise.

And when you are seeing well, she is a very beautiful lady too.

That's strange. I don't have a problem with migraines or headaches but I find quite often when looking at the Thai Visa Chiang Mai forum I often get a serious case of diarrhea when I read posts by certain members.

Does anyone else suffer from this affliction?

Not me, Id say you are probably full of sh*t! :o

I was going to mention that Dr. Rachada is a real stunner, but until the patient sees well, he might not notice. Ophthalmology seems to attract females here. Other than an old man the last time I went to Sripat, they have all been ladies. In contrast, my neurologists have always been males, and my heroes have always been pacifists. Cue the Willie Nelson song...

Everytime I want to look at her, I get drops put in my eyes that blur everything and then told to sit outside. :o

I think what really makes her a 'stunner' apart from the obvious are her excellent skills and her very pleasant manner - she oozes confidence. :D

If you were ever to have the pleasure to meet up with BB in person (and I hope that you do) the pleasure would (will be) be short lived indeed (I would say very short lived in fact) :o:D
