New To Phuket, Recomendations...........

Featured Replies

so i am taking my first trip to Thailand in the beginning of April. i will be staying with a friend in Phuket City and wanted to hear some recommendations on things to do and stay away from while i'm there. although i will be staying with my friend that lives there i would like to somewhat plan my own vacation rather than have him show me what he likes. i do want to see some muy thai, not the fake stuff, and have been told of Rayan(?) Beach. i will be renting a scooter and can travel somewhat but don't wanna get too lost. as my friend has his own life out there and can't babysit me the whole time. which is why i wanna do some of my own stuff. maybe i should get a certain travel companion book here in the US before i go? thanks.
