Vientienne Embassy Closed For Song Kran?

I am in a mild panic, once more, .I have to leave LOS on the 11/4/09, my calander has a string of "red" days from the 12,13,14,15th April, which is Song Kran. Will the Embassy in Vientienne be open during this holiday?. Your answers appreciated.

I have just spoken to Laos Airlines who tell me that the Thai embassy in Vientienne will be closed from the 10th April to the 19th April.

I will ring them tomorrow and confirm .

Acording to their Website. It will be closed 13th - 16th incl. http://www.thaiembassy.org/vientiane/about_officetime.html

Which means on that week it will only be open on the friday, which efectively means closed all week as the friday will be mega busy.

Yep. Looks like you are going to have to go the week before. Be aware that transport and the roads will be busy with Thais returning home.
