Reputable Dermatologist?

Featured Replies

I will be visiting some friends in Thailand in June and having talked to them of my interest in having Botox done they have recommended some reputable dermatologists in Bangkok as listed:

Dr. Mona of M&T Face Care Center

Dr. Wichai of St. Louis Hospital

Dr. Nataphat of Apex

I was also interested in having some laser resurfacing done as I have alot of old acne scars. I know that all 3 of the physicians recommended to me are specifically trained in the US and UK for the procedures I'm interested in but am still concerned as to any complications that may arise especially after I return to the US.

I would appreciate any experiences or recommendations concerning these doctors and any advice on how to prepare myself both financially and health wise.

Thanks

Botox, no special preparation or aftercare except that immediately afterwards should not lie down for sevarl hours or have a face massage for 1 week (they should tell you this.)

If you actually get laser resurfacing, it will involve general anesthesia and complete avoidance of sunlight afterwards for at least several weeks.

However acne scars over respond to less drastic treatment such as a series of IPL treatments (at least 5) or selective use of deeper lasers, from which there is no downtime. Will depend on severity.
