Thaksin was kicked out of UK,if he returns to Thailand as PM, will he kick all UK residents out?? who knows, do you?

He wasn't kicked out was he? He left and wasn't let back in.

If thats the case why treat Thaksin any different than the other thieves, crooks and would be terrorists they let in every day and become another drain on the U.Ks resources, check out todays news on yahoo.

So by your reply, my question has no creedence, lets wait and see,,

Thaksin will never return. He is a coward at heart, and like all cowards, he can't stand the thought of himself suffering in any way. As soon has he would return, the handcuffs would go on and he's be escorted to prison. Then there are the 8 different trials awaiting him. Can you picture Takky, in the orange jumpsuit, handcuffed, being escorted to all those trials?

No way he'll ever come back. For Thaksin, all of his efforts regarding the current protests are about money, his frozen 76 billion. Anyone who says different is just blowing smoke.

He was actually convicted and probably won't be tortured or executed on his return. Had he been in the UK at the time of his conviction, a trickier situation would have arisen for the UK govt.

I agree about the others being let in though. As I see it, there is no benefit to the indigenous UK population in admitting them, and they are often detrimental to the national good.

he said UK will regret their decision.

so not sure what you can read into that, in terms of consequences could mean lots of things

perhaps, but his life would be at risk, there have been assassination attempts.

It means he's got his fortune tellers, witch doctors and voodoo priestesses, working overtime killing chickens and smoking reefer - until Gordon Browns mum rises and walks, around, cursing the UK and all its inhabitants.

This guy makes for good newspaper copy, but I can't help but think that in the end, he's going to get exactly what he deserves. Kharma is a bitch that way...

personally i think all his bad karma has been exhausted, now his good karma is returning,

we can see this in his newfound sense of purpose with regard to the pro democracy movement.

It's beyond return for him, if he, as 'smart' as he thinks he is, keeps attacking the most revered institution and it's members, as well it's servants, he is working hard on the point of no return!

completely consumed by his megalithic ego, he lost oversight of reality and how to be a smart, considerate player, he's gone way beyond, behaving like an elephant in the porcelain shop, doesn't make him any more friends and enemies he has plenty already!

......just a thought or two...

Now let's see where are the 100 Mill. supposedly transferred to the safety Cayman Islands, he said "if they are found, they can be used for the welfare of Thailand - well then let's start with the 76 billion!

Former confidant of Thaksin told the press '"When we think differently from Thaksin, we are hunted. We are destroyed,".

Is 'revenge' is one trait of Thaksin?

He may garner a lot more support if he threatens to kick all the Brits out!

(And, no I am not being serious!)

As far as I remember Thaksin was not "kicked out" of the UK, he was asked not to come back when he had already moved abroad. Usually the condition of stay of a former political leader in Europe is quite clear : you can stay as long as you don't embarrass our relation with your country of origin. Thaksin chose to continue his political fight, it was obvious for everybody he couldn't stay in the UK, it wasn’t UK's choice, at the end it was Thaksin decision.

Beside the English press has always shown a clear support for Thaksin, Thaksin is smart politician who clearly understand the obligation of international politic so there is no point in trying to scare foreigners with Thaksin return.

Definately one of the positive aspects of him returning....it will NEVER happen.

I wonder how many Thaksin threads there have been on thai visa? :o

I believe Thaksin was far more amenable to farangs in the Kingdom than the present regime, a lot has been posted about the drugs scandal, are we really to believe that he Thaksin was solely to blame, grow up people if he had not had sufficient support it would not have happened, and what kind of people would carry out these executions, westerners have a different mentallity. The P.M.was in yesterdays bkkpost, and I quote "He assured people that security forces were well prepared and would work in unison to ensure the red shirt protest proceeded under the rule of law" Question Mr. P.M. does that include stopping people in outlying areas from getting into Bangkok to legally protest.

Disclaimer: I am not a supporter of Thaksin, but democracy in Thailand is worlds apart from what we in the west are used to.

he will be back ..only a matter of time.....init :o

Could be although not if you listen to all the self proclaimed experts here, although I hope not,one possible way out of this mess would be to hold a proper election without the interference of certain peple and classes and when you have a duly elected government then use the due process of law to prevent further civil unrest but still without due harrassment from the government to restrict legal and properly organised protests, not this self serving situation we are now in, ok for some but not others, yellows and reds.

He'll clean everyone opposing out. Maybe making the Visa more difficult.

And for sure you'll have again a war against drugs and this time it will be less than 50 drug dealers who got killed....
