The battery in my rechargable small vacume cleaner has died. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? I have tried the elec shop at Carrefour but it's too specialised for them & they do not have.

I had the same problem when I lived in Prague and had a Siemens hand-held vacuum cleaner. No one in town had the battery. I contacted Siemens in Germany and they charged my credit card for the battery and sent the battery to me by DHL and even gave me free shipping.

Try contacting the manufacturer as those batteries are quite specialized.
