Dead Scrolling Area On Page When Posting A Reply

Featured Replies

When you enter a post, below the "Post" box is the area labelled "Attachment Editor".

Below that is a label "Attachments" and immediately below that is a scrollable window with the words "Select a file" at the top. But it scrolls only about 1/2 a line.

I'd like to know why that is a scrollable window as it screws up my ability to scroll the page down to get to the "Add Reply" button. It's like a dead spot on the screen.

If I try to scroll the page using the mouse wheel, as soon as the mouse pointer hits that "Attachments" window, the page stops scrolling and that little window scrolls a tiny amount. I have to consciously move the mouse pointer somewhere else in order to continue scrolling down to the "Add Post" button.

I know it's only trivial, but it gets annoying after a while.

Any reason why that bit of the screen is like that - like a little scrollable window?

Looks can be deceiving Kan Win! Try this:

Click on the Reply button.

Put your mouse over the phrase "Select a file" in the Attachments Editor window, just below the Post window.

Now rock your mouse wheel back and forth.

What happens? :D
