Aloha. I get to say that one last time, my wife and I will be on a plane out of Maui on Thursday the 3rd to return to Thailand after 18 years here in Hawaii. We will be returning to Ubon where we have a house and a couple of parcels of property. I lived and taught English in Bangkok for 9 years--late 70's to mid-80's. Did everything simply based upon having a BA. This time I will be going down to Ban Phe and taking the TEFL certification course to enhance my chances of getting a WP sponsored position. I would be very interested in communicating with anyone who is teaching in Ubon that might be willing to offer some advice and friendship. Ubon is home to us and I've visited often over the last twenty-two years but this will be the real move that makes us live there from now on. Would certainly appreciate any insights and observations.
