Hi All

My 90 day Address Reporting is about 14 days overdue

so I missed out on the 7 days of grace

So I expect to be Fined Bht 2,000

OR - will they take the State of Emergency as a REASON

for not risking life & limb to travel to Suan Phlu?

So I plan to go there this afternoon

Does anybody know if it is closed for any reason today?

What time do they close?

What is the LATEST time I should be there to ensure I will

be attended to and not turned away

Thanks for any help / advice.

They are open today.

You missed your chance for your 1 week grace period last week and there was no protests last week. So think you will have to pay 2000 baht.

I would guess you would not want to get there not much later than 3 since they close at 4:30.

UPDATE

I did have to pay Bht 2,000 Fine

The Immigration Clerk tried to soften the "News" with a sweet smile.

That day Soi Suan Phlu was flooded Ankle Deep

There was NO Electricity at Immigration

Windows were open - hand Fans and Candles were in use.

However all the Staff seemed in Good Sanook Mood

I arrived about 3.45pm - there were few "Customers" but it took 30 mins to process my Fine.

Why not wait until your next visa run? Would there be a fine then?

He doesn't make visa runs. He is on an extension of stay.

You don't have to make reports if you are using a multiple entry visa because you never stay more than 90 days.

Stand corrected, thank you, Ubonjoe.

So, if no more visa runs, is renewal of work permit done on basis of 90 day report?

And if so, what happens when leaving the country (through re-entry permit)? Different dates in passport and w.p.?

A WP is extended on the basis of heving all the required documents. The 90 day report is not required for that, but you will need to have a valid permission to stay based on a non-immigrant visa. It is based on your permission to stay.
