chico Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 as most of the people in isaan live from cultivating rice, THE HOT TOPIC right now is selling rice. the official sales price in the shops is around 7.70bt/kg now there is a story, that people can sell rice now to the bank, and the government garanties a price between 9t and 10bt/kg, depending on the quality. money will be paid after one week!?? anyone knows if this is true or maybe just an election gimmick?
