Time and location: 10min ago, Silom, close to Sala Daeng, outside Kasikorn Bank.

Around 2 squads of soldiers in riot-gear (read: carrying shields) are assembled together with around 30-40 police officers.

Any info on why they assembly on this location as oppose to any of the usual locations?

well, perhaps minus the young girl on the end... it's quite strange how she's lined up with these soldiers...

but then again, it's quite a dramatic photo.
