Anyone that believes the temporary deflation is anything other than a liquidation fire sale is deluding themselves.

Manufacturers have been quick to react. Cutting production to meet demand.

Used car prices are reportedly rising in the UK. I wonder why?

Throw in trillions of dollars/pounds/yen etc bailout and tarp money . . . Gold is still looking favourable.

A lot of uncertainty about the inevitable I feel.

Thanks for this snippet, Churchill.

Now we are seeing the realities of Korn's "high" Baht at any cost policy coming home to roost, since Daimler will service the Thai market from other ASEAN sources, i.e. from those countries that have kept their currencies in line with their competitors and their customers.

Just the first of many such closures still to come. I feel for the workers soon to be out of a job, all so that Korn can "save face"!
