May 15, 200916 yr I've been on meds, but I'm trying to switch to herbal pills. I've brought a 4 month supply w/ me from the US, because I'm not sure if/where I can get them here in BKK. Any ideas?
May 15, 200916 yr Author Could you say what they are called, so that you can get advice. Are there any places like Wholefoods where you can buy healthfood and natural meds?
May 15, 200916 yr The only places I ever see are the ones on the 6th floor of Pantip Ngamwongwan. But am sure if you goggled you could find some in BKK
May 15, 200916 yr Dear "asiagirl", There is a healthfood chain called Aden's, I don't know where it is but there is one in Bangkok - away from Sukhumvit. http://www.adenshop.com/contactus.htm Contact them and ask? Hope you are keeping well, All the Best, BillZ http://ginsukapaapdee.wordpress.com/
May 17, 200916 yr In looking at the Aden web site, there is no indication there they deal in herbal medicines.... Around BKK, there are quite a few GNC outlets that stock various vitamins and supplements, and they can be found on the web... Unfortunately, their prices seem very high, much higher than for comparable products at GNC stores in the U.S. As for natural foods, it depends on what things you might be looking for. Villa Markets do pretty good in terms of offering a variety of organic and/or natural food products. PS. - You might also want to check with any of the larger Thai pharmacies around you, since they tend to stock medicines as well as herbal products. The prices there, for sure, are going to be much better than GNC...
