I am a very mild Trekkie, and I saw this movie 3 times!! I loved it! See it in the theatres if you can. Astounding visual effects and tons of direct references to the original series.

Selling on DVD in Patong as well. Though pretty sure for now the copy will be crap.

As the others have mentioned. See it in the cinema. Marvellous movie and tip top effects.

There is a torrent file out there for ST11 now, probably the same used by the DVD's shops. Filmed from cinima. Terrible video quality, and the sound is even worse. You need togo to the cinima to see this movie before June 3rd. On TV it will not be the same IMHO.

Took the Thai gf.. Had never heard of Star Trek at all. Kept asking me if things were real: Spock's ears, the flying police motorbike, the fleet of spacecraft etc..

Told me after that she liked Spock because he reminded her of me...
